Jervis Bench Company designed a system that delivers high quality and extremely durable landscape furniture at a very low cost to you. That is our founding principle.

The system coordinates economics with production and shipping efficiencies aimed at creating products that will pass the 2X+ Rule. This means our products should be compared to competitive products costing twice as much. Yes, we better be good.

Basic to the system is the process OSAF (On-Site Assembly and Finish). We ship the components flat, ready for quick assembly, without expensive and massive packaging needed to protect delicate finishes. This is a substantial efficiency that results is a major cost saving for you. Our 2X+ Rule says that the completed value (after assembly, planting, and finishing) must be twice the price paid or more. When shopping, we should be compared to benches and tables costing twice as much. That is just being fair. You can provide the OSAF labor yourself, or hire someone, you'll still come out better.

All of our products are designed and engineered for fast and easy assembly. The designs are intentionally forgiving, so 'perfection' is not required to get a good end result. Can you do it? Most likely you can do it quite easily. It's a simple and rewarding DIY project.

If you'd like some help, we recommend that you contact a local landscape contractor to handle the entire process for you. You'll still save money.

Use an electric drill to set screws in pre-drilled holes with clear markings

It's like planting a tree. Concrete is not normally needed

Smooth off anything scratchy or unwanted
